Our Mission, Purpose & the Need

RECOVERY ROOM 7 is a mission of hope to the community of teens and adults in recovery who want to fully recover by the Almighty Power & Deity of Jesus Christ.

We are fully prepared and equipped to deliver the absolute solution to the ever increasing death rate from accidental overdose here in Montana.  We will be a place of refuge, a source of strength and a gateway of hope for those seeking a faith driven productive and abundant life, free from the darkness of their past. We will provide both a Bible based peer-to-peer community recovery support and awareness center, and a doctrinally sound Biblical recovery program that includes the world renown Adult & Teen Challenge curriculum.  We will be open to teens through adults and welcome all people from all roads of recovery. We offer empowering respect and hope to the all too many people who have been marginalized and given up on life and living.

It is in Recovery Room 7, where Jesus Christ is always available to those who choose to reach out to Him, to heal, bring peace, encourage and save.

God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.  (Psalm 46:1)

We will serve Sanders and surrounding counties in Northwest Montana.

We are Non-Denominational, Spirit Filled and Biblically Balanced.

Our one and only Manual is the Holy Bible, where Jesus Christ holds all the answers.

Recovery Room 7 is another passion driven outreach of Teshuvah Road Ministries Inc , Victory Retreat Montana, and The Recover Mission.  We won't stop until addiction ends!  Jesus Christ came to heal the brokenhearted and we are here to see that His will be done and addiction is healed!

  1. When you get out of detox, a hospital, a treatment center, jail, or a halfway house, you need a safe place to go and feel you belong and are accepted.
  2. Jesus Christ's salvation, compassion and healing power is here for those who know or want Him!
  3. There are always people to connect with who understand what it's like and what you're going through. That helps.
  4. Peer to peer recovery  builds a sense of community and provides  a lasting support system within the recovery community.
  5. It's FREE to come to and to access the tools you need now and for your future.
  6. It's a place where, if you're low on money, you don't need it to share a cup of coffee and a bite to eat.
  7. It's your spot to feel right at home.
  8. You'll be respected and protected.
  9. For some, Recovery Room 7 just may be the only place you'll need as you go through your recovery.
  10. It's a place to engage and re-engage with aspects of your recovery, and perhaps be a valuable  mentor to help someone else.
  11. It's a place where people celebrate your victories with you as well as help you through your pain.
  12. It's for adults, teens and tweens to find healthy friends, learn the value of self-esteem, understand their lives , meet sober friends, find purpose, engage their family in their recovery, receive comfort, and find God.
  13. As a person in recovery or a volunteer, it will give you a reason to get up in the morning!
  14. You can enjoy sober activities.
  15. You can build a network of new sober friends; there's a full and happy life after addiction.
  16. If you're a volunteer, you will feel empowered by helping and mentoring others. Volunteers find healing, balance and purpose when life seems to be in chaos.
  17. You'll feel safe, safe and safe.
  18. You'll be creating something bigger than yourself.
  19. You'll learn how the promises in the Bible can be applied and keep you free of addiction for the rest of your life.
  20. If you choose to, you'll be able to participate in our 'Retreat, Renew, Recover' Recovery Program if you would like an enjoyable, transformational and life changing faith based program.  The classroom will be right in the building!
  21. This center may be your last, best, or only hope.

Peace, Safety, Belonging, & Transformation

  • Peer-to-Peer simply means people in addiction recovery work to help one another.  A 'peer' is someone who has had the personal experience of addiction and recovery  themselves,  or has been through it with a family member or other loved one.

  • We will be doing peer-led activities like  sober social events, the opportunity to take part in a non-12 step Bible based recovery program for those who wish to participate, leadership training, speakers, providing important resources to you for personal growth, organic gardening therapy, social book reading for those who like to read and talk about books, animal therapy, a writing club for those of you who like to write, Christian music, Talent shows, inspirational Bible studies that are non-denominational with a born again message, and peer mentoring.
  • We are a volunteer program where people in recovery have the opportunity to plan, find hope and purpose, create, invent, and make things happen.  It will be extraordinary!

  • We are not treatment, or a clinical medical model, we do not provide conventional therapy or medications, and we are not twelve step.  While we are not these things,  we do acknowledge that some of these elements may be needed or even  crucial by some during their recovery period from addiction to total healing. We recognize that people exist in the complex context of their lives and choices, and that, in the right conditions and with the proper teachings, people can and do recover.

  • We serve our local communities in Northwest Montana from Sanders County, Lake County, Flathead County, Missoula County, & Mineral County.  Of course, anyone from anywhere is always welcome, so if you happen to be passing through, please stop in.  While we will begin as one center for 5 counties, our 5 to 7 year goal is to have a minimum of one center for each county.

  • Recovery Room is obvious and needs no explanation; however, we will explain why the number '7' in the name.   7 (Seven)  is the number of completeness and perfection (both physical and spiritual) in the Bible.  We know that you can be physically and spiritually healed by being a born again believer and following Jesus Christ. So, the number 7 has a deep and profound meaning in that it is a constant and ongoing reminder that  you can be healed of addiction, because God is 'PERFECTION'.

We have created the opportunity for Recovery to be able to happen!  By definition, and according to the dictionary, the following is true:

As a noun, recovery is defined as a return to a normal state of health, mind, or strength.

As a verb, recovery is defined as the action or process of regaining possession or control of something stolen or lost.

So, isn't it unfair for any program to be called a 'recovery' program when being fully recovered is not expected?  We take words very seriously because, used in the wrong ways, words can lead to deception, confusion and hopelessness.  Will everyone totally recover here?  No, not everyone will recover.  Why?  It takes authentic repentance,  faith, and commitment to Jesus Christ for Him to heal, leaving addiction dead and buried in the past. It's a profound lifestyle change which we teach, live, uphold and disciple people into.  That lifestyle change supernaturally happens when we give God's Holy Spirit complete control of our hearts and minds.  The world can't offer this and so they don't.  God does!  Haleluyah!

When people have tried everything else, they cry out to God!  It is in that moment they come and we lead them to the cross. Addiction is a Satan thing.  Permanent healing of addiction is a Jesus thing.
